Corporate Giving Policy

NSC Minerals Ltd. and its employees recognize that contributing to the communities in which we live and serve is an integral part of our corporate social responsibility.  Subject to budgetary considerations, we assist organizations within our areas of service that contribute to a better quality of life for our communities.

Our community support program focusses on building relationships that align with our strategic business focus, and with our core values and principles of accountability and integrity.  We seek to build relationships that will provide lasting impact for our employees, customers, and our communities by giving back to our local and national communities. The goal of our giving program is to contribute to the well-being of our communities and those who live in them.

NSC Minerals is a strong supporter of many charitable foundations, events, and activities.  As an organization, we have decided to focus our support in the following target areas, paying close attention to our Aboriginal and New Canadians’ populations:

• Children and families
• Health and wellness
• Education

We are able to provide support within our communities by providing advertising for various events and activities, Corporate and in-kind donations (e.g. promotional items), and Corporate sponsorships. Applications that fall within our preferred areas of support will be given preference.  Requests for support are to be made in writing, directed to the NSC Minerals Ltd. Corporate Giving Committee.
